CLASS 63 TO 66 RULES 1. All exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor and no one else. 2. Judges are instructed to award prizes to new and updated work. 3. Each exhibitor, with more than 10 exhibits shall supply a list of articles submitted to each chairperson. 4. All paintings and wall hangings must be framed and wired, ready to hang or they will be refused. 5. Articles may not be removed by the exhibitor, but must be removed by a committee member or other authorized  person. 6. Only one article per category, per exhibitor, will be allowed in each section. 7. All art entries must be titled. 8. No personal labels shown on articles. GA5 Knitted Article (free choice). GA6 Any Article Not Listed. OVERALL PRIZES: 1. Exhibitor with the most points combined in Class 65, $15 donated by the Ladies Division of the Fairboard. 2. Exhibitor with most points combined in Classes 63, $15 donated by Hart’s Riggs W.I. 3. Exhibitor with most points combined in Classes 64, $15 donated by Lila Curl 4. New exhibitor with most points combined in Classes 63, 64 & 65, $25 donated by Auto Master ( Jim Messacar) Ontario Association of Agriculture Societies Championship Quilt Competition This competition begins at the local fair and continues through District III Competition, where the prizes are $25, $15  and $10. The first place winning hand-quilted quilts at District Competition are eligible to enter the O.A.A.S.  Championship Quilt Competition at the Annual Convention in Toronto. The entry judged Best of Show at the  February Convention will be declared the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies Championship Quilt. A  $500.00 Grand Prize will be awarded and the Exhibitor will retain ownership of the quilt.  Entry must have been judged the Grand Champion Quilt of all classes at the local fair. If any Entry wins Grand  Champion at more than one fair, the other Fairs at which this quilt was entered and won, should enter their  Reserve Champion Quilt in the District III Competition.  Note: If an Exhibitor wins Grand Champion at other than his/her own Fair, or more than one Fair, the exhibitor must  consider the Agricultural Society nearest his/her home address as the one from which the quilt will be sent to the  District Meeting. Entry must be a minimum of 324” measured on the perimeter (smaller quilts will not be eligible to proceed to next level of competition). Entry must be solely made and hand quilted by a group or individual who is a member of the Madoc Agricultural Society. (payment of $6.00 membership fee). Upon making an entry into the O.A.A.S.  Quilt Competition, the Exhibitor agrees to participate in any promotional  activities  related to the competition. The winning O.A.A.S. Champion Quilt will not be eligible to compete in any future District and or Convention O.A.A.S. Competition. Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies  MACHINE CHAMPIONSHIP QUILT COMPETITION The quilt must be machine quilted by the exhibitor, not a professional. The competition begins at the local fair and  continues through District III Competition, where ribbons and prize money will be awarded for First, Second and  Third Prize Quilts. The first place winning machine quilts from the District Competitions are eligible to enter the  O.A.A.S. Championship. Machine Quilt Competition at their Annual Convention. The entry judged Best of Show at  the February Convention will be declared the O.A.A.S. Machine Championship Quilt. A Grand Prize will be awarded  and the exhibitor will retain ownership of the quilt. A certificate and ribbon will also be awarded.  Entry must have been judged the Grand Champion Machine Quilted Quilt of all classes at the local fair. If any entry wins Grand Champion at more than one fair, the other Fairs at which this quilt was entered and won, should enter their Reserve Champion Quilt in the District III Competition. Article can be square, rectangular, etc. Entry quilt must be solely made and machine quilted by an individual who is a member of the Madoc Agricultural Society. (payment of $6.00 membership fee.)
